Suzan Almahmoud is a poet, literary critic, short-story writer, and journalist. She received her BA in Arabic studies from the University of Damascus. She is a member of the Syrian Writers Association. Her work has appeared in various outlets, including Jadaliyya, Syria Salon, Australian Nas News, Ahram, al-Hayat, and almodun. Almahmoud has published poetry and participated in national and international readings. In addition to her creative writing, she has interviewed poets, artists, translators, playwrights, and novelists. She writes a column on literary criticism.
