Pauline Fan’s translations of Fatimah Busu’s An Ordinary Tale about Women and Other Stories (2024) and Kulleh Grasi’s Tell Me, Kenyalang (2019) have gained international recognition. She won an inaugural PEN Presents x International Booker Prize grant for her ongoing translation of Ruhaini Matdarin’s The Last Days of Jesselton.
