Hiranmoy Lahiri is an emerging Kolkata-based translator, book reviewer, and freelance writer with a master’s degree in English. His latest work, Kaleidoscope of Life: Selected Short Stories, a translation of sixteen stories by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, was published by Hawakal in 2024. His translations have appeared in Muse India Literary Journal and the Bombay Literary Magazine. One of his translations was longlisted for the 2024 Mozhi Translation Prize. Lahiri has also contributed articles to various national and international publications, including The Statesman, Women Exclusive, Flickside, Offscreen, Asian Movie Pulse, Asia-Pacific Journal: Japan Focus, and Asiatic: IIUM Journal of English Language and Literature.
