Eric Ziolkowski is Helen H.P. Manson Professor Emeritus at Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania. He is author of numerous books, articles, and essays in the comparative study of religion and literature; served 2002–12 as North American senior editor of the journal Literature and Theology (Oxford); 2004–24 as a main editor of the Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception (De Gruyter), volumes 1–24; and co-edits the series Studies in Religion and the Arts (Brill).
