Candice Louisa Daquin is of Sephardi Egyptian/French descent. Born in Europe, Daquin was publishing director at the US embassy before immigrating to America to practice psychotherapy. She is managing editor at Lit Fox Books, reviews editor with Austin Poetry Review, associate editor for Life & Legends and poetry editor with Tint Journal, Writers Resist and Parcham Literary Magazine. Daquini is co-judge of The Northwind Writing Award.
