Polly Barton is a translator of Japanese literature and nonfiction, currently based in Bristol. Her most recent full-length translations include the international best-seller Butter, by Asako Yuzuki, and Spring Garden, by Tomoka Shibasaki. Her debut nonfiction work, Fifty Sounds, was published by Liveright in 2022.
