Doo-Sun Ryu specializes in twentieth-century English literature. He is also interested in postcolonial studies. He received his BA and MA in English literature from Seoul National University and his PhD in English literature from New York University. He is now an emeritus professor of English literature at Seoul National University. His books include D. H. Lawrence’s The Rainbow and Women in Love: A Critical Study (2005).
