Marcelo Rioseco is an associate professor of Spanish and editor in chief of Latin American Literature Today at the University of Oklahoma. Over the course of his literary career, he has published the poetry books Espejo de enemigos (2010), 2323 Stratford Ave. (2012), La vida doméstica (2016), and Olivia en los suburbios (2020). His book Ludovicos o la aristocracia del universo (1995) won the “Revista de Libros” Poetry Prize, awarded by the newspaper El Mercurio in Santiago de Chile, and La vida doméstica received the “Premio Academia” awarded by the Academia Chilena de la Lengua. His recent books include Midori & 18-O (Cuarto Propio, 2024), Poesía Selecta (La Castalia, 2024), and Ceremonia de despedida (Valparaíso Ediciones, 2025).
