Dustin Tahmahkera, an enrolled citizen of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, is an award-winning playwright and an interdisciplinary scholar of North American indigeneities, critical media, and sound. He is the author of Tribal Television: Viewing Native People in Sitcoms (2014) and Cinematic Comanches: The Lone Ranger in the Media Borderlands (2022). An associate professor at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Tahmahkera is the Wick Cary Endowed Chair inNative American Cultural Studies.
