Basem Nabres, a Palestinian writer and poet from the Khan Yunis refugee camp, was born in 1960 and lives between Belgium, Spain, and Gaza. He is one of the founders of the Palestinian Writers’ Union under occupation. His writings and poems are known for their philosophical and poetic character, addressing issues of humanity and freedom with honesty and depth that touch the hearts of young people.
