Melody Makeda Ledwon is a bidirectional translator (German/English). Her work explores multilingual, feminist, afrodiasporic stories. Melody’s (co-)translations include Vierhundert Seelen: Die Geschichte des Afrikanischen Amerika 1619–2019 (2024) and Angela Y. Davis: Eine Autobiographie (2023). She has presented her work at Translationale Berlin and Afrolution Festival.
