Santiago Acosta

A Venezuelan scholar and poet, Santiago Acosta is assistant professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University. His poetry collection El próximo desierto won the III José Emilio Pacheco Literature Prize “Ciudad y Naturaleza.” Acosta’s poetry has received the support of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program, and he was an invited poet at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow.
